Stores actually close at night, so you can wait around or rest until they open, or you can get arrested trying to pick the lock (I am not good enough to pick the locks in the sotres yet). If you go into a shop and play the game with the owner, they will give you a better deal and pay more for your items.
You can get people to like you more by talking to them and doing this mini-game type thing, but it is not realistic at all, after 2 round you know what the person wants to hear, but sometimes are forced into saying something that you know will make them upset. Nothing like those, no one is looking but if you try to steal a guard appears out of nowhere. I just stole a horse and rode it around the other night. Want to steal someone's silverware? Go ahead, and if you don't get caught, it's yours. The depth of this game is outrageous! If you can do it in real life, you can probably do it in this game.
